Gourmet Kayak Tours

The minimum booking charge for any tour is the cost of 2 adults.  If you are wiling to pay for two, we are happy to run a tour for one person.

Tour times vary according to the seasonally changing time of sunrise and sunset.  All sunrise gourmet tours start around 15 to 30 minutes before sunrise.  Gourmet Sunset tours start around 1&3/4 hours before sunset.

Probably not.  Capsizes are extremely rare.  Occasionally some people's unique paddling style may splash enough water to dampen clothing.  We supply dry bags to keep your valuables and jackets dry.  Your guide will be taking photos during your tour, so you can leave your camera and phone at home if you wish.

No there are no crocodiles or alligators in South Australia.  Happy paddling.

To ensure that you're prepared for the tour, we suggest bringing

• a shady hat and sunglasses
• appropriate clothing for the forecasted weather. Is rain expected?
• You won't need to get your feet wet, so footwear is up to your discretion.
• Please avoid wearing jeans or cotton trousers in cooler weather as they can keep you cold if you splash yourself.
• We will have a drink when we stop for a break, but you might like to bring a water bottle to use while you're paddling.

The tour typically lasts for approximately two hours, with an additional hour allotted for launching, traveling, and stopping for a cuppa, etc.

Yes they are.  For Vegan please tick the box in the booking process to make the Vegan selection.  This will add $10 to your booking cost.  As the box is shared between you and your booking partner, both of you will share the Vegan platter.

For the gluten free option please tick the box in the booking process.
