Hi Paddlers,
This week we’ll be paddling in Sawmill Creek and adjacent areas while water levels are still raised from natural spring flows. The regulators have been opened and the Draper Road entrance is now open.
We’ll meet and launch at the “Causeway Campsite 19” at 5.25pm (see photos). Approx. 18kms from Berri.
IMPORTANT: Access is via Draper Road (off Crawford Tce., past rodeo grounds), NOT via Lower Winkie Road – access track still closed. Google will probably direct you (incorrectly) down Lower Winkie Road. Directions: Keep on the main track (which starts as Draper Road) following campsite signs until “Causeway Campsite 19” sign.
