Kym is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. The river at sunset is stunning and serene. Behind every good man is a great woman and Karen works tirelessly behind the scenes to make this experience special also. Enjoyed a lovely cuppa and some local treats while taking in the sunset and wildlife. Precious memories!

My husband and I went out for a guided tour with Kym, and it was fantastic! Kym was absolutely wonderful. Originally we wanted to go out at sunset, but due to his weather advice, we decided to go out the following morning instead which was great advice (considering the storm front that below in that afternoon that we had no idea about!). Kym helped me get in and out of the kayak, had amazing local knowledge of the wildlife and Murray River, and gave us a fabulous morning tea in a great camping spot. The kayak paddling was easy-going at our own pace, and we sure learnt a lot about the amazing river system. We would definitely recommend this tour!

We hired 4 canoes and did the self-guided tour as suggested by Kym. Our 9 and 12 year old boys easily handled the canoeing and loved the independence of having their own canoes. The trip was peaceful, interesting and beautiful. A lovely family memory.

Kym was fantastic. He clearly explained everything and ensured we were 100% good to go. 2 adults and 2 children. We had a ball. The boys ended up riding together after the first stop because they felt so comfortable with the canoe, the river and the ease of the coarse. Beautiful scenery and a very easy 2.5 hours of paddling. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a great day out for a family and great value for money too. Kym the proprietor is great fella. We loved it.

We had a wonderful morning canoeing from Gurra Gurra Creek to Lock 4 through the backwaters and then into the Murray River. It was a family outing with our 3 young adults, brother in law from America & parents in their 70's. We all had an amazing adventure and stopped along the way with our packed thermos & smoko! It was so tranquil and easy canoeing, making it a very relaxing morning! Kym was very helpful with his instructions and getting us to and from our destination in his bus. We will certainly recommend Canoe Adventures to our friends & family to do this great Riverland experience!

I saw a travel log while channel-surfing the TV and thought while visiting Australia (Adelaide) I just had to experience an iconic piece of Australia. And I wasn't disappointed. A leisurely paddle in the mid-late afternoon exploring the backwaters and side creeks of the Murray River echo-system - wildlife, fish, birds, we saw it all. We stopped on the bank of a river bend for a break, refreshments and to stretch our legs, then we were back in the water as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon - stunning, serenity. This experience will replenish what the daily grind in the city takes removes from you. Truely unforgettable & well worth the day trip from/back to Adelaide. Will definitely be doing it again if I get the opportunity, this time for longer - if at all possible. Highly recommended.

On the Easter weekend, 8 of us met Kim at the Berri Info Centre and followed him and our kayaks for a couple of kilometres to a quiet launch spot. After clear and detailed safety instructions, Kim informed us about possible routes and we were provided with an easy to read map which was to lead us on our adventure. Once in the water, we set off on our self-guided adventure. Once off the main river, we slowly explored the smaller creeks and lagoons. Eagles soared above us and we spotted numerous water bird species along the way. As dusk approached, a real sense of serenity enveloped us. The bird song was stunning. Arriving at 'the boat ramp', our pick up destination, we were incredibly reluctant to leave the water. It truly was a magical way to experience the Murray and all it has to offer. As local South Australians, we wondered why we hadn't done this before. It won't be the last time that's for sure! Paddling slowly for about 4-5 hours was enjoyed and managed easily by all of us including a 10 and 13 year old. Thanks to Kim and his team for such a well organised activity.

When in the Riverland, one of the must dos is take a stroll down the murray on a kayak. Its a great and very calming. Kim our host is a friendly chap a d easy to get along with. He can pick or meet at the Berri info center. Be will drive u to the dropoff and guide you accordingly. Aparently we were one of a few who took a wrong turn but didnt worry because Kim guided us to one of many locations for pick up. Nice tour and good service. I would highly recommend.

Took 2 adults & an 2 kids (8 & 10 year olds) on a 1/2 day guided kayak. Started early due to 40+ temperatures forcasted. Being on the water & seeing the variety of trees/birds/kangaroos with only the sounds of the paddles was an amazing experience. Felt very safe with Kym as our guide. We will remember this day for a very long time.
